Shelley Chaffins is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. She originally attended
the University of California at Davis. where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, with an emphasis in Biomechanics. Her healthcare career, spanning over two decades began as an EMT- Firefighter.
When an injury caused a change in her career path, she built on the foundation of her medical knowledge and become a Certified Pilates instructor and Personal Trainer. Shelley then pursued her interest in nursing, graduating Summa Cum I.aude. with a bachelor of Nursing degree from Samuel Merritt University in 2010. She then graduated Walden University ‘ with a 4.0 to obtain Master of Science in Nursing in a Family Nurse Practitioner program.
She has been practicing as a physical medicine provider for several years using conservative pharmacological therapy, interventional procedures, behavioral and lifestyle modifications, and physical rehabilitation.
She strives to provide her patients with a comprehensive treatment approach with a goal of improving function and quality of life, in pain management interventions as well as cellular medicine and cosmetic procedures. Shelley enjoys spending time outdoors and attending music and sporting events in Portland with her husband and young son.
